Owner/Stylist
Vickie opened Salon Gloss in February of 2006, and has been enjoying the salon’s huge success ever since. Salon Gloss boasts thirteen stylists, an esthetician and a receptionist. As an accomplished stylist with a background in teaching with a well known salon chain, Vickie uses her in depth knowledge and technical abilities to create beautiful high and low lights using the naturalizing techique. Vickie enjoys all her salon roles and it shows in all of her work whether she is working on a client or busy managing the business.
Selina
Stylist
Selina specializes in long hair cutting and styling as well as men's clipper cuts. Over the 15+ years Selina has attended many advanced cutting and coloring classes including studying with L'Oreal and Goldwell. Her most recent education was a 2 day Goldwell color boot-camp for advanced color technicians. She applies her advanced knowledge of coloration and multi-dimensional techniques with her clientele; all the while she maintains a healthy feel and look for your hair. Selina enjoys the opportunity to create a contemporary and racy new look that help emphasize her client's personalities.
Mandy
Manager/Stylist
Mandy has extensive experience as a stylist and has trained with many top educators in the hairdressing field. She is now an educator herself. Mandy prides herself on her ability to do all aspects of hairdressing well, but is especially fond of colouring and highlighting. She is extremely organized and is a great asset to the inner workings of Salon Gloss. If you don’t see her working behind her chair, you will see her busy working around the salon to make sure everything is ordered and running smoothly.
Lilly
Esthetician
Lilly immigrated to Canada from Mexico just over 11 years ago. She brings eighteen years of experience & expertise in the field of esthetics to Salon Gloss. She loves what she does and often works extremely long hours in order to fit everyone in. Lilly is comfortable in a wide range of areas in esthetics, including Brazilian waxing, and has proven to give one of the best pedicures around. Booking ahead with Lilly is highly recommended.
Jodi
Stylist
Jodi offers over 16 years of hairdressing experience and her specialties include beautiful haircuts and styles for the whole family. She is an expert in all technical areas of the salon business which include colouring and highlighting. Jodi also loves to perm hair.
Jemma
Stylist
Jemma has been a stylist for 9 years. She jump started her career by apprenticing and training extensively with Tony and Guy in London, England for two years. Jemma excels at a number of things including edgy new colors, cuts and updos; however, she loves creating shiny healthy blondes. Jemma always customizes her client's hair, making it unique to suite the individual's style!
Magaret (Maggie)
Stylist
Orginally from Scotland, Maggie brings her 46 years of hairdressing expertise to Salon Gloss. She has been in the industry so long that her clientelle now includes third generations - how fun is that? Maggie is exceptionally talented in cutting hair, especially men’s cuts and she loves doing perms! She brings lots of energy to the salon as she is fun, vivacous and charismatic.
Fabio
Stylist
Salon Gloss welcomes Fabio and his 17 years of expertise to the team! Fabio decided to become a hair stylist for his love of fashion and making people feel beautiful! Not only has Fabio worked within the Vancouver area for years but he has also taken his career abroad working in Bahrain and most recently Berlin. Fabio is always looking to advance his skills and has attended courses with Tony & Guy as well as Goldwell. If a color change is in need or you want a massive blow out, he is your guy. Fabio excels with color, enjoying all aspects of it and he will also give you a rockin' blow out!
Janna
Stylist
Janna brings 22 years of experience to Salon Gloss and throughout those years has served a huge clientele in the tri-city area Janna has taught various hairdressing courses but her main focus is caring for her clients. She enjoys learning new cutting and coloring techniques, and had a great time at her most recent class; A two day Goldwell Color Boot Camp. Janna enjoys cutting and styling women's hair and is fantastic when it comes to up-dos and blow dry styling.
Celia
Stylist
Celia has found love in montreal and sadly has to leave us, however we have kept her clients color formulas on file and are willing to find the right stylist for you. Feel free to pass on messages to us that you would like celia to hear!
Alexis
Junior Stylist
Alexis is brings a fantastic, creative, and enthusiastic presence to the salon. She came to Salon Gloss from the "top of her class," and has proven to be a valuable asset both behind the chair, and behind the scenes with marketing and reception. Alexis is a proud co-host of our children's birthday parties and enjoys doing a variety of extensions including our new feather extensions and hair bling. Alexis has a natural talent in coloring and specialty up dos. She has done many fashion shows with our team and is a certified Goldwell Color Technician. Alexis is constantly improving her work as she continuously takes advanced coloring and cutting technique classes. She has attended multiple Goldwell Color Classes, as well as her most recent class, a TIGI short hair cutting class. If you are looking for a fresh idea for your hair then Alexis is the stylist for you!
